Gary came to know Jesus Christ as his Savior at the age of 11 through a church camp ministry near his hometown of Indianapolis, Indiana. Later, at the age of 13, he believed God wanted to use him in full-time ministry. After several years of wandering away from God, Gary repented of his sin of wandering and rebellion against God and devoted his whole self to living for Jesus Christ. Gary, accompanied by his wife and children, went on Armstrong Family to the Word of Life Bible Institute in upstate N.Y for a year where he obtained a one-year Bible certificate. He then transferred to and graduated from Appalachian Bible College in West Virginia with a B.A. in Bible with a minor in pastoral ministries.

Gary was interim pastor of a local church while in Bible College. Upon his graduation, he and his family went to California where he worked in church planting and pastoral ministry for approximately 3 ½ years. He and his family then went on to a church-planting ministry in the Atlanta, Georgia, area until November, 2007, when they accepted the call to minister at South County Bible Church.

Gary loves people and the ministry but also enjoys watching professional football (Go Colts!) and playing golf. He is happily married to his beautiful wife Chela and has three wonderful boys, Zach, Keaton & Garrett.
